Carnival now has a rival to Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas. Introducing Celebration Key! Celebration Key is located on the south side of Grand Bahama Island, and is designed exclusively for Carnival guests.
This beautiful 65 acre island consists of 5 portals to explore. Each portal is different and is made for Carnival fun! There are unforgettable experiences like a mile long white sand beach, freshwater lagoons, local Bahamian flavors and shopping and an adult only beach club.
Food!
At Celebration Key you will find full service restaurant such as Mingo’s Tropical Bar & Kitchen, which is a lagoon-side restaurant serving Bahamian favorites like fried fish, conch fritters as well as burgers, seafood, tacos, steaks and sandwiches.
You will also find Surf N’ Sauce BBQ & Brews, which smokes their meat right outside and has great sauces, sides and Bahamian beer.
You will also find Gill’s Grill, which has seafood baskets, local fish, lobster, steamed crab and shrimp. They also have chicken, burgers and kids meals.
The restaurant at Pearl Cove Beach Club features an elevated menu, a bar and a lounge.
At Celebration Key you will also find fast casual dining such as Captain’s Galley Food Hall at Starfish Lagoon, which has hamburgers hot dogs, fried chicken, pizza, Mediterranean bowls, tacos and burritos. You will also find Mingo’s Express, which is a casual on the go choice. Finally you will see food trucks operated by local vendors.
There’s also plenty of snacks around the island such as a coffee shop, ice cream shop, food carts and snack shacks.

Paradise Plaza
Paradise Plaza is the first portal you come to when you arrive at Celebration Key. In Paradise Plaza you will find an ice cream shop, a picturesque fountain. You can also find live music here while you decide which direction to head next. You will see the Suncastle in the distance featuring waterslides and an observation deck.
Lokono Cove
Lokono Cove is a wonderful portal of Bahamian culture and shopping. You will find authentic Bahamian merchandise at the kiosks, stores and straw market. You can take a home a piece of paradise from this portal. This is all duty-free shopping.
Starfish Lagoon
Starfish Lagoon is a family friendly portal that is perfect for kids and families. This is a great portal with a splash area, shallow pool, basketball, volleyball, pickleball and more. There’s also a swim up bar for the adults. You can rent a beach villa or floating aquabana as well. There are also plenty of restaurants and food trucks here as well.
Pearl Cove Beach Club
Pearl Cove is a very luxurious adults-only area and includes a private beach and infinity pool overlooking the Bahamian waters. This portal includes poolside or beachside food and bar service.
Calypso Lagoon
Calypso Lagoon is an area that’s adult friendly and is full of fun and sun in the sand. You can relax on a float here or grab a lounger by the lagoon. You can also get a full cabana or hang at the bar in the swing seats. There’s also a sports court here to enjoy. These are also 2 full service restaurants in Calypso Lagoon that serve a variety of cuisines and specializing in local Bahamian flavors. There’s also an adults-only area that has a swim up bar and DJs nearby, which an exclusive area at the beach.
